Keepsake Pyjama Bears are collectors bears made using your own special fabrics to keep your memories alive. Each one is handmade by resident bear artist Laura Love. Pyjama Bears have traditional cotter-pin joints and vintage boot button eyes. Noses and mouths are hand embroidered in coordinating colours and paw pads are decorated with tiny matching stitching. Everything thing about a Pyjama Bear oozes character, from the happy smiling face, the long limbs, the elongated hump and feet, and the handwritten label with a unique personality.

How to look after your Bauble Bear:
1) Hang in a place with a nice view and lots of things to see (such as a Christmas Tree)
2) Open once a day to let Ted out to have a run around and use the loo!
3) Always put extra treats on the Christmas Tree to allow fo the ones Ted will eat. Top up regularly (I've been asked to say that pink sugar mice are best, but it's really none of my business!)
4) Don't pack away after the festive season is over, hang on a hook or sit on a roll of cellotape by your desk to help you work!)

Bauble Bear Extras:
-Made in your own keepsake fabrics +£8
-Add wee-willy-winkie-style hat + £5
-Add letter or number on foot paw pad +£3 per foot
-Other ideas open to discussion!

Things to consider when choosing keepsake fabrics to use?

- A stretchy fabric will give a rounder (chubbier) shaped bear
- A rigid cotton will give a more angular and long limbed bear (more true to the original design)
- Stretchy or sheer fabric will be lined and so their feel may alter during the process
- all materials can be used, even that chunky jumper, lace nightie or peaked cap
- Ties make a great bear
- Shirts are also very successful
- The more items you give me the more colourful and varied your bear will look
- The more items you give me the better I can curate and edit to make the best bear possible for you

FAQ's How many items should I use?

-For the small bear upwards of three new born baby grows/one mans shirt/ three ties (more the merrier!)
-For the medium bear upwards of two mens shirts/ a shirt and two ties/ 5 various baby clothes (new born baby grows alone are probably not going to be enough)
-Do message me directly if you want to check if your collection will be suitable.

Safety Notice

Pyjama Bears are collectors bears, and as such are made with traditional methods and materials. As such they are not CE tested and are considered suitable for age 14 upwards. There is a free option to change the joints and eyes to safety plastic ones, however due to the origin of your fabric I am unable to CE test individual bears and as such must advise that bears should be adult supervised under the age of 14. All stuffing conforms to modern regulations.

Please state at time of ordering if you require your unused textiles/scraps to be returned with the completed bear. All remaining scraps will be up-cycled and recycled in accordance with the 13 Stitches ethos.
